Why I like katmere
I like Kate on two levels.
1.) I love her. She’s a fun, gracious and amazingly tolerant person, willing to put up with all of my faults. Life with her is simply, in all respects, far better than it would be without.
She gamely tries any hobby or interest I have – and is good enough to some how conjure up enthusiasm for it. She’s come on board on so many of them that this isn’t just an accident; she’s just that sweet!
2.) I think she’s an example of what’s good about our society. With a little ambition and determination she’s taking great strides forwards, without having to turn into a burned out workaholic. Her interests are expanding in virtually every direction.
Working in the field she does, many shut down their empathy for their fellow person, to prevent being overwhelmed by despair. Kate soldiers on without such defences, and goes beyond her work to develop policy positions that might one day solve those problems.
Basically the point is, I <3 Kate!
